Voice Recorder - OpenAI Processing

To provide voice transcription and AI summarization, we need to send your audio recordings to OpenAI Inc. (United States) for processing.

What happens to your data:

• Audio files are sent to OpenAI Whisper API for transcription
• Transcriptions are sent to OpenAI GPT for summarization
• OpenAI retention: 30 days for abuse prevention only, then permanently deleted
• No training: OpenAI does NOT use your data to train their models
• Storage: Transcriptions and summaries stored on our UK servers

Legal basis:

• Your explicit consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a))
• UK/EU → US transfer via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and UK IDTA
• Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with OpenAI

Your rights:

• Withdraw consent at any time (prevents future recordings)
• Delete recordings and transcriptions
• Export your data
• Object to processing in the United States
